ArtPop Street Gallery

A public gallery of local artists’ works displayed on billboards, newsstands, digital signage at shopping and lifestyle centers, charging stations at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, and other venues around the city.

In 2020, my mosaic, Peace Mandala, was included in this wonderful program. In January of that year, I went on a billboard “scavenger hunt” to see my work displayed. Seeing it lit up at the first venue, Ballantyne Village, took my breath away. The image of my artwork, extremely large, in public, brought a lump to my throat! The next stop, the 14’ x 48’ printed billboard, was even more breath-taking. The gratitude I have for the ArtPop Street Gallery program goes beyond words. Not only does it give the gift of art to thousands and thousands of people who see these billboards every day, in a multitude of cities around the US, it gives the artists exposure they could never have otherwise.  Perhaps the greatest gift is the thought that my artwork may bring joy, peace, or maybe just a smile to someone who happens to see it on a daily commute.

Now that the billboard has been taken down, it has been recycled into useful and durable totes.

Purchase in my merch shop. Only a few available…when they’re sold out, they’re gone for good!
